I'm trying to find out any information I can about my ancestor,
Abel Chandler, who was an itinerant preacher in the spiritualist church.
I have a letter of his saying that he was preaching on spiritualism to large gatherings. The letter is from the mid 1800s in which he asks to have mail sent to bluffdale, IL.
Did the Spiritualist church keep records? If so, where could I look?
