Does anyone know who to contact for the congregant records of the Belleville Dutch Reformed Church? It was Second River. I am trying to help someone find her ancestors from the 1890s.
This is the family she is trying to find: My grandparents names were Frederick Spatz born in Dec. 1867 and Sarah Campbell Spatz who came from Ireland in 1887. My aunt was born in Oct 1890. So, if they were married at this church it was sometime between 1887 and 1890. This was the church my mother attended growing up so there might be other records that will help me.

Please contact me at nanaturk@verizon.net.

Have you tried contacting the Church?

If it is no longer active, try posting your query on the Essex Co, NJ Message Board.

You have posted on the Revolutionary War / New Jersey board, which is about the RW 1775-1783.

Good hunting!
