Looking for Fred Heck's Family

Zee Randall  (View posts) Posted: 17 Nov 2000 7:33PM GMT
According to my History, my father, who one source lists as a Fred Heck, was killed in an automobile accident Dec. 31, 1953. He had many brothers and sisters, including a faternal twin who'd died young. He and his family were described as rural folks, and Fred Heck was divorced from my mother prior to my birth. Don't know if he was aware of her situation. Any info would be wonderfull.
I've developed some medical problems and some family history would be great!

Zee,
I have 4 Fred Hecks listed in my data base. Do you know where he might have been born or the date or where his family might have lived. I have information on a couple of the Fred Heck families I have but my gut is that the information I have may be to old to be your father. I will however check the books I have and see if I have anything else. The other thing is to try A.J. Heck.
Good luck in your search. I have made wonderful discoveries in FamilyHistory.com

Thank You for responding! I don't have alot of information, adoption records from the 50's leave alot to be desired.

Since I was suppose to have been born in Charlotte, Michigan, I am lead to believe that my mother and father were from that part of the country, but can't be sure. I have to think it's safe to assume that Mi., Oh, and Ind. would be a good bet. The information that I have is that he was killed in a auto vs train accident Dec. 31, l953 while on his way to work, my bio states he was a factory worker at the time of his death. However, it says that they (The Heck family) were country people, farmers.

That is about all the information I have, except for descriptions of the family members, but I can't see where that is much help right now.

Any more info would/could be helpfull, and I hope I've given you something more to go on.

Thanks for trying!!
Best Wishes...
Zee
