I am a descendant of Richard David Fugler and the gentleman that sent my Mother Tena Mae Fugler Busby a copy of the Family Tree in 1975 is a Mr. Jerome C.Hafter . If this is the same person could you please send me his phone # . I just found this package at my sister house after her death . I am going to try to get it more up dated and I wanted to see if Mr. Hafter has a more updated one that I have. Also if he needs some information from my Mothers side of the family I can get that information for him from my cousins. Because all of my Mothers brothers and sisters and brother in laws and sister in laws are dead. I would appreciate your help if this is the same gentleman. Thank you , Linda Parker Tyson

Do you have any idea where the "Casablabca" came from? The reason I ask is that my gggrandfather was David Casablanca Nix born around 1821 & I can't find out where. Thanks.

Surnames: Fugler, Westbrook
Two of Samuel's daughters married into my mother's family. My mother's mother was a Westbrook before she married into the Keith family. One Fugler was Mabel Claire Fugler who married John "Monroe" Westbrook and the other was Elizabeth Fields Fugler who married Monroe's brother Richard "Amos" Westbrook. Monroe, we called him Uncle Bud, and Aunt Mabel had two children who didn't survive, a boy and a girl. Uncle Amos and Aunt Bett had a child who didn't survive. Their baby is buried in the Westbrook Memorial Cemetery in Smithdale, Ms. The headstone says "Our darling baby, infant son of Richard Amos Westbrook and Elizabeth Fugler Westbrook b & d 7-6-1912".
Uncle Bud and Aunt Mabel are buried in East Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Amite County, Ms. Their children are there, too, and were:
George Dick Westbrook b 6-26-1923(died the same day)
Nellie Glynn Westbrook b 11-22-1925 (also died the same day)
Mabel's shows: Mabel Fugler Westbrook 1889-1956 MOTHER
Bud's shows: John Monroe Westbrook 1890-1979 FATHER
I remember Aunt Mabel very well, but never met Aunt Bett. My mom remembers Aunt Bett very well...if anyone is interested...
The Fugler's did have a lot of kids, but I will have to look on my Family Tree Maker to get them...sorry I can't do it just now.
Hope this helps,
Suzanne

Thank you for your input. I have a great deal of info on the Fugler family that settled in Mississippi since that is where Casablanca was born. However, I have no information on the Nix family...

again... thank you Suzanne for your reply, I will check my tree to make sure I have the same info that you have on your heritage.

Margie
