I have hand-typed pages of information on the descendants of Nathan N. Culp, Jr., born in S. Carolina. He was married to Mary Ann E. (born in GA..and could've been his 2nd wife).

This also contains information about his grandfather, John Culp, born somewhere between 1760 - 1775, married to Ann Neely. He had brothers named Austin, Benjamin and Henry.

There's speculation that John Culp was the son of Peter Culp, who was the son of Hans Casper.

I'd be glad to fax this information to anyone who wishes to see it. Feel free to email me at gracylibob@aol.com.

Does any of your information have the Culps in Lancaster County, SC? We are looking for the Culp who moved from York County to Lancaster. I think we are somewhere in this line, but we have not been able to fill in the pieces to William Joseph Culp who was born in 1870 in York County

I am also looking for information about the Culps in the Yotk/Chester Counties of SC. Specifically, Elizabeth Amanda Culp who married Charles T. Polk around 1846 in Chester Co., SC. They migrated to Arkansas by 1856. Anything would be appreciated.

I'm sorry I don't have the info you are looking for but I would like to add to your question, I am looking for a Houston Culp. The info that I have is that he died before my Grandmother was born which was June 10, 1900. She was born in Rockhill SC and her name is Minnie Culp. Her mothers name was Nancy Yarbrough Clup. Nancy later married Thomas Hamp Irby. All my life I was told that Houston was a Catawba Indain which from what I have found out can't be true because the Catawba Indians don't have that name in any of there records plus the name is German not indian. So if any of this info does come to help anyone please let me know plus if anyone has anything on Houston also please let me know.

Thank you,
Bill Stapleton
