I am seeking descendants of James Dennis Hird (family tree below). James was the secretary for the Church of England Temperance Society. I have a lot of information to share on his maternal line.

1. JAMES DENNIS2 Hird (ROBERT1) was born Abt. 1850 in Ashby Lincolnshire, and died Bet. 1891 - 1901. He married SARAH JANE PICKLES Bef. 1874. She was born 1845 in Clayton Buckinghamshire ( High Holland/Hoyland Yorkshire).

Children of JAMES Hird and SARAH PICKLES are:
i. EFFIE M3 Hird, b. 1874, Liverpool Lancashire.
ii. BEATRICE BLANCHE Hird, b. Bef. 5 October 1878; d. Bef. 20 September 1879, St Johns Church Summertown Oxford (I year 24 days).
iii. ROBERT BEATSON DENNIS Hird, b. Bef. 10 October 1881, St Giles Parish Church Oxford.
iv. DORA SYBIL Hird, b. Bef. 17 February 1882, St Giles Parish Church Oxford

I have found a reference to James Dinnis Hird in my research - I'm positive its the same fellow. I have some info on his ancestors and am trying to link his grandfather John Hird b1791 Middle Rasen, Linc to my ggggrandfather Thomas Hird b.1793, Middle Rasen.
