Looking for info on original 3 Andry brothers (Louis, Simon and Gilbert) that settled in Louisiana from Acadia and before then - France. Plus any info on Andry's in Acadia and France. Their son's name was Etienne. It is possible that Etienne had children and these are the brothers you are looking for. However, the french comes in on the maternal side.

Sherill,I have a tree that shows Ovide on it but says he died single. Do you know who his father was? On this tree, it shows that Michel Andry, grandson of Louis Antoine, to be Ovide's father. Is this the same Ovide? When was your grandfather born??

The baptismal record of my grandfather Gustave Andry states that his father was Ovide Andry. My grandfather Gustave was boen in 1863.
