Work Family History, Volume 3

My name is Marla Druzgal. I am a Work descendent, and am currently compiling data for Volume III of the Work Family History. Volumes I and II were written very well, as you probably know, by Von Gail Hamilton. I have received Mrs. Hamilton's consent to continue this wonderful family tree in a 3rd volume, and would love to learn about your families for inclusion.

If you are interested in submitting your own family information for inclusion in Volume 3, or you wish to be included on the mailing list for updates or to be contacted about purchasing the finished volume, please e-mail me:

If you have already submitted information to Mrs. Hamilton, you don't need to re-submit unless anything has changed.

marladruzgal@hotmail.com
Alternate: alexthedog@forcomm.net

I prefer the first, because I can retrieve your e-mails from the road.

Looking forward to hearing from you and recording your story for your descendents. If you want to confirm my lineage or my sincerity, please do so. I am very serious about the ethics and integrity of genealogical research.

Love Marla

Hi Marla

Does the WORK family you are researching have a branch in the St. Johns, Saskatchewan, Canada area circa 1870-80?

If so, how much info do you have, and is there anything on a Joseph Work married to a Mary Helen Miller of St. Andrew's, Manitoba?

Thank you

I, too, am a Work descendant and have been in touch with von gail hamilton. We are the ones who stayed put in Franklin County Pa. I'm just working on names and dates of these folk and would be glad to send you this information when I finish. What is your proposed deadline? I would like to buy a copy of vol 1; do you know of a source that costs less than the $166 I have seen?

Dear Jean,
I will be very glad to include your information in the next volume. Please send when ready to:
Marla Druzgal
1118 Wade Street
Aliquippa PA 15001-3941
Please be sure to note your paperwork that you are the source, so I can credit you in the book for your family line.

Regarding Volume 1, Von Gail may be able to do another printing of Volume 1 if she can generate enough interest among the descendants. I believe if she gets enough people, the cost will be less than the $166. Please e-mail her again and ask her to put you on the list of people requesting Volume 1. Since printing costs are so considerable these days, it's important to know how many people will commit to buying one before going to press.

Sincerely,
Marla

Do you have Von Gail's e-mail address?

My great-grandparents were Henry Clay Work and Mary Ann Gibson who were married in Indiana (White Co,??) 30 Sep 1867.

I have no idea if this Henry Work is from the same line that you and Von Gail are working on.

Thanks,

Wanda

Dear Nadine,
I would love to receive information from you on the family of Minerva Work and Samuel McKee Stiteler. Please submit at your earliest convenience, by either e-mail or postal mail.
You're 100% correct on the small world. We are originally from Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and after moving to the Aliquippa area, found that some of our relatives lived in the area years before.
Sincere best regards,
Marla Druzgal
