Upon researching some of my own Wells ancestors, I have run upon a small (50 or so) "wells cemetery" in Knox county, Ky.

I plan to return to fully transcribe and document it, but here are a few people that I am trying to find more info on that were at this location:

John C. Wells (b. 21 JAN 1861, d. 06 DEC 1927)

Joseph Wells (b. 03 AUG 1816, d. 03 MAy 1896)
---spouse of Joseph:
Sarah Wells (b. 31 DEC 1835, d.31 AUG 1899)

----son of joseph and sarah?
Solomon Wells (b. 24 DEC 1871, d. 13 APR 1944)

This graveyard also had a number of other surnames:
TERRELL (fair amount)
ENGLE (fair amount)
ELLIOTT, CARTER, DECKER, HELTON, BROCK, SMITH, McKINLEY

Sounds like what you're refering to is the Bryant Cemetary. Jesse Oliver Wells married Clara Ann Bryant and the Bryants told him and his descendents that any Wells who wished to be buried there were welcome. However, they also extended this invitation to many others who married in to the family so just because people are in the cemetary doesn't mean you (or I) are related to them. Several of those in the Cemetary are my kin though, so email me at peramia@gmail.com if you wish to know more about the Wells family as descended from Jesse O. Wells and Lucinda Gatliff

I would be very interested in any info about names in this cemetary. I am researching my husbands Wells family. I am trying to find info on a James and Sarah Wells that lived and died in Knox county KY. James was born in 1838. I am tryng to find his parents names??? They had a daughter named Emily that married Sampson Engle. If you happen to run across any info on these I would be very grateful. Thanks, Kim

joseph and sara are the father and mother of james wells. I have a letter to that effect. But never went there . I'll have to look and see if Solomon is mentioned. I'll let you know.
Also the cemetery may have not been in knox county at the start. It may have been in the county next to it they changed the county lines in the late 1800's.

I have a picture that contains the children of William Wells b. Dec. 23, 1847 and Margaret b. Jan 8 1851. There are 9 children in the pic. These Wells I believe are all or mostly buried in the Wells cemetery. My father-in-law went to Kentucky and researched some of it.
