I have a Wolfert Webber born 1582, died 1630 in my tree. He was rumored to be the son of HRH William I "The Silent" of Holland, but, so far, I've personally been unable to substantiate that. Could he be who you mean?

I, too have a wolfret in my family tree. My tree starts with William The Silent (1533-1584) followed by Wolfret(fourth King of Holland? (no dates) - followed by another Wolfret Webber (B Jan.12/1630 - Founder of Dutch Republic?) m Lady Ann Wallace Jan.12/1630 . I got this information many years ago from the Nova Scotia Archives in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Since finding this site I have found many omissions in my information. Wolford Weber is buried in Germany . He was married to a Russian (maiden name Kierenski) Solomon and Casper are his sons who came to America (VA)in Jan of 1763 with their Mother. Casper was born in 1742. I have a date Jan. 6, 1743, but I don't know it's meaning. Casper had a son named Solomon.There is a letter written that states there was a large sum of money in Germany for Casper and his heirs. Casper settled in VA. with his mother and borther. Casper Weber and Rosannah Humphreys Weber (sp?) and their family moved on to North and S. Carolina and settled on the Main Broad River near the north and Sout Carolina border state line and there is at that place, a monument marking his grave. Here are the names of Casper's children:Joseph Augustus, Phillip , Casper K, Solomon Adam , John and Moses. All spelled in my write up with just one "b ".I have more write- up if you are interested.
