Sam,
Don't rely too much on info that comes out of a book. I have read that particular book and while it did give me info on where to start looking for my info, I found that not all of her "research" was correct. I prefer to do my own digging for info because that way I can verify and document.
Thanks for the info though, I would like to get in further contact with you to fill in your side of the family history in my files.

I just saw your post about the cemetery being bulldozed under. How did you find out about this and when was it done? I have been trying to get permission to go there for years. I am highly disappointed in this bit of news.

Have just been looking at your messages and would like to know where these Vivian's came from - was it Cornwall? If so, what part of Cornwall and when did they arrive?
Thank you
Joan Vivian
