Hi, I read your e-mail and believe we are related on the Vargas side. My father, Bernardo Anda Vargas, was born on 08/20/01, and was Arnulfo Vargas' younger brother. Arnulfo was married twice. His first wife died and left a child/daughter, who is now living in Flagstaff, AZ. His second wife was much younger than Arnulfo, and was named Chayo (spelling ??). Chayo and Arnulfo had many children, many of whom now live in Phoenix, AZ. These children include Chemo, Juan and Jose (twins), Rene, Lupe, Lucy (who lives in Texas?), and Sandra (who lives in California). Please e-mail me if you are related to this Arnulfo Anda Vargas from Cd. Juarez, Chih, Mexico. Arnulfo's parents were Isidro and Ramona (spelling) Anda Vargas. My father mentioned the Anda family had a Hungarian blood line. The Vargas family were practicing Mormons, and left Mexico during the Mexican Revolution, but returned to Mexico in the late 20's (??). One brother was named Dionisio and a sister was named Juliana. Juliana was a widow, but was married to one of Pancho Villia's men....I found an interesting site involving two University of California (in Fullerton, CA) professors who interviewed Arnulfo Anda Vargas in the 1970's. after reading other posts i think i need to give you more information. my husbands family is from jocotepec. his name is jorge valencia son of palemon valencia and catalina valentin. palemon's parents names are maximiliano valencia and luz ramirez. maximiliano had 10 kids. i hope that helps!

Hi My name is Marlene Valencia i have recently become intrigued about my roots and where my last name comes from. I would like to get more information on my family history. My Family is from Tamazula, Jalisco but have family in Guadalajara as well. Most of my dad's brothers and sisters now live in California. My fathers name is Humberto Valencia and my grandfather's name was Gildardo Valencia. He had 7 children with my grandmother Matilde Rodriguez. From talking to my dad the other day he was able to tell me that my great great grandfather came from Spain with 2 other brothers. He believes that on of the brothers was in Jalisco and that's the Valencia's that i came from and that another of the brothers some how ended up in michuacan. The third brother not sure where he ended up but we have believed that there is also valencia's in Baja mexico that could be related to the family.
