My gg-grandfather Benjamin Totty b:1801 and married first to a Martha Franklin they lived in or around Ettrick, VA or Chesterfield or Dinwiddie Co.,VA.
They had four girls named Mary,Amanda,Caroline and 1 boy named Edward Totty b:1841
After Martha died had married one Melissa Wilson they had one son Benjamin Harrison Totty. Girls are so hard to find because they change their last names. So, I'm looking for Edward 's Family, he could have worked at the old cotton as did Benjamin H. Totty did. It's a possibility Edward could have been born in Petersburg or Dinwiddie Co.
