Betty I'm trying to get in touch with you. My grand father William Alivin just passed Jan. 31 2003. I'm beginning to research my family. William's father was Emmitt Alvin. Please get in touch with me.

Hi Terry,
I just your message about Emmit Alvin, Emmit was my g-uncle his brother Benjamin Franklin Totty was my grandfather.
Emmitt married Etta Mae Puckett, I have Etta's parents here somewhere I'll have to look for it. Emmit and Etta are buried at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, I visited their graves this past Jan. they have no head stones, but there is a marker with Etta's name on it, there is also buried there Etta's sister Ada Puckett Dabney and her husband. I think I have given you enough info so you'll know I'm who I say I am. My mother was Ethel C. Totty she married Sydney P. Andrews.
I called the number you gave me and left a message for you to write me or call me.
