Hello Vicky and Jeffery: Do you know if Harrrison Totty came from around Petersburg, VA.? I have a record of a marriage bond dated Feb.8,1810,made out in VA. Harrison Totty is giving oath that Thomas Totty is 21 years old. The bond was for $150 which would let Thomas Totty marry Frances Phillips, daughter of Anderson Phillips. I believe this Thomas Totty could be Thomas Hill Totty who later shows up in Hickman Co. Tenn.

Harrison Totty of Totty's Bend, TN is also my gggrandfather. His son Zollie Coffer Totty married Mary Elizabeh Bates. One of their children was my grandmother Myrtle Totty who married Henry Columbus Adams and on down the line. Would appreciate hearing from you.

The Bible is in very poor condition after surviving a fire that destroyed the old home place. Where did your ggrandfather make his home? Our ggrandparents were brother sister.
