I know that Bruvik (Brudvig) is a farm in what was Haus municipality earlier, this is north of Bergen. And I believe the father was Olaus. Seems that several of the names are Americanized, as they often were. Do you know if Inior was a boy or a girl, and do you know if the emigrated before or after 1865?

I can't believe I didn't see this until now! Sorry it is taken so long to respond. I am very interested in the info you have. My grandfathers full name was: Magnus Gustav Toft. I don't recall a Carl, maybe a cousin? I will have to check with my mother, she remembers quite a bit. She has said there were also some relatives with the surname of Nelson. Does that ring a bell? Also, I have found out that He was from Lindaas which is just north of Bergen. Hope to hear from you soon!
