they had 10 kids, andrew jackson was the oldest, born in indiana, in 1837, and died in july, 1901, in wright county, missouri. i know all the names of the children, but not when they were born or died. any information, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated.

I have information concerning a Jesse Todd who was married to a Elmire McMann. He was orginally from VA and purchased property in Allen County, Ind in 1840. Don't know if there is any connection. Dee

Betty, Melvina Todd, wife of Robert R. "Preston" Todd's mothers name was Easter Dayton, and her father's name was Thomas Todd. I hope this helps you! Melvina Todd was born circa 1820 and died circa 1900, and married her cousin, RR Preston Todd July 23, 1836 in Indiana. What is your Hamilton line? My great grandparents were Henry Clay Hamilton and Ellen Fletcher from Wright County, Missouri. Do you know if they are related to your Hamilton's??

Marilyn, Thanks for the reply! In the 1880 clay co. Al. Census there is an Elizabeth Todd age 30 with two daughters, Mindy age 7 and Melvina age 4.Girls were born in Al. and Elizabeth in Ga. Mindy or (Amanda) was my Grandmother b, 11May, 1871. Married William Caldwell b.07 June,1858. They were married 06 Dec. 1888 at the res. of Melvina Todd by L.P.McKnight.Don't know if they connect down the line .

Also my husband's father, Thomas Hamilton was the only member of his family to come from Aireshire? Scotland.

I do not know if this person could be connected to the RR & Melvina Todd family, but in view of the unusual first name of Easter, I thought I would send this along. There is an Easter Todd buried in Forest Grove Cemetary, Fannin County, Texas with the dates 12 Apr.1903-15 Jan.1967.
