Tock Surname

I am tracing my mothers family.she was b.1924 in Oil City,PA.Her father was LLoyd F. Tock b. 1892 also Oil City,Father August Tock mother Frances TockAnyone tracing this name?I need help with this one.

I am a tock and also from Oil City we are distant cousins I'm at Signl43 @ aol.com my grandfather was Howard Richard Tock Who died in 1993 e-mail me i'll find out as much for you as i can

My Great Grandfather Tock's name was also August. He is buried in the Calvary Cemetary in Oil City PA. My Grandfather was Paul John Tock, My grandmother was Cecil Mildred Lindsey-Tock. If I can be of any help to you please write.

I am also a Tock decendent. My grandfather was Paul John Tock from Oil City. My great grandfather was August Tock. Are you related through the same great grandfather?

Patti, I know very little except that my baby book says August Tock ggrandfather,Frances Tock ggrandmother.Grandfather was Lloyd F. Tock.He is buried in Mt.Collins cemetery Tionesta,Pa.According to Obit i have Lloyd had 2 sisters Mrs.F.M. Byers and Lucy Monks and a brother William .This is all i know except Lloyd remarried to a Susie Hepler at time of death.Sure could use some help.

Christopher,I tried to email you,but i haven't heard anything from you.I think we proably are related as very few Tock,s.My Uncle Frank had 5 children,so there are 5 Tock,s all born in Calif.2 sons and 3 daughters.Only one Tock male from those 5.Sure hope you can help i know so little.

Wow this is really exciting. The Mrs. Byers you speak of should be Dorothy Byers. I have pictures of her. Also I have pictures of GGrandma Tock when she first came to the US. Where are you located? I have a lot of unfo. from my one Aunt who at this time is the only one that really remembers the past. I need to get as much from her as possible.

There were many Tocks in Lincolnshire, England, around the Humber River, in the 19th century. My g-g-grandfather, James Tock, was born in Alkborough, Lincolnshire in 1818. He had several daughters but only one son, James Tock, who apparently changed his name to Tuck, born in probably Maine in about 1868.
