Hello,
I am trying to find some Thoma relations for a school paper. My husbands grandfather is Jimmie Thoma and is from OK originally. We have no info on any of the Thoma family as his mother's family is not a sharing type.
Thanks in advance for any information.
Sandy

I have seen information here that people are listing from two different David Triplett's.

1. David Love Triplett married Emma E. Thoma 15 Jun 1921 (Jefferson Co), Missouri. Both David and Emma are buried in Amity Cemetery, (Ripley Co), Missouri. David L. Triplett 25 Oct 1897 - Sep 1969 and Emma E. Triplett 1893 - 1971.

2. David Raford Triplett married Mary Magdalene Rowan. Both are buried in Sweet Home Cemetery, Amity, (Clark Co), Arkansas. David R. Triplett 18 Sep 1885 - 11 Sep 1968 and Maggie Triplett 10 Aug 1888 - 24 Feb 1962.

So which David Triplett married Estella C. Thoma that was first married to Isaac Alex Haynes and just left that family ? She was not with her children or husband in 1920.

Estella Thoma was my grandmother. She left my grandfather and my mother and sisters to marry David Tripplet. This is all the iformation I have on her.

Estella "Estill" C. THOMA was born on 04 Sep 1891 in Boonville, Cooper County, Missouri. She moved with her family to Biggers, Arkansas in 1906. It was there that she met and married ISAAC ALEXANDER HAYNES. They were married on 14 Apr 1907 in Randolph County, Arkansas. Mr. Haynes was born in 1883 in Holmes, Randolph County, Arkansas. This is believed to have been a brief marriage and it is only mentioned in passing in the family records. Estella was only 16 years old at the time and there is a court order attached to the marriage record. She later married Dave TRIPLETT.
Dave and Estella moved to St. Louis, Missouri where they lived until 1922. They then moved to Neelyville, Missouri and were they were known to be living during the years 1926 to 1933. They had moved to and were living in Popular Bluff, Missouri in 1947 and 1959, and finally to Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas
Estella died in Pocahontas, Randolph County, Arkansas and is buried in Arkansas. David was born on 18 Sep 1885. He died in Arkansas in Jan 1968 and is buried there.
Hope this is some help.

Still not clear. SSDI:
Name: David Triplett
SSN: 432-46-8833
Last Residence: 71921 Amity, Clark, Arkansas, United States of America
Born: 18 Sep 1885
Died: Jan 1968

That David R. Triplett is buried in Sweet Home Cemetery, Amity, (Clark Co), Arkansas and is listed as the husband of Mary Margaret "Maggie" Rowan. David and Maggie are in the 1920 & 1930 census in (Clark Co), Arkansas.

The other David L. Triplett, SSDI:
Name: David Triplett
SSN: 544-36-6709
Last Residence: 63935 Doniphan, Ripley, Missouri, United States of America
Born: 25 Oct 1897
Died: Sep 1969

This David L Triplett and Emma are in St Louis for the 1920 census and Ripley Co, MO for 1930. But they are buried in Ripley Co.

So is there a third David Triplett ? Sorry to be a pain, just trying to tie the correct information to Estella Thoma. My line is from the Haynes family. Isaac Alex Haynes is the brother to my great-grandmother Ruth M. Haynes.

I am Bessie Marie Haynes daughter. I have been trying to find anyone related to my Grandfater Isaac Alex Haynes for a long time, I seem to remember an Aunt Ruth, my middle name is Ruth she is who I was named after. I am sorry I don't have much more info on Estelle Thoma. Perhaps the census put Emma instead of Estelle? Nice to find a long lost cousin.
Did Isaac Alex have a brother named William? It seems I recall my mother saying they were from Middle Tenneasee.
I have a list of my aunts and thier children if you are interested.

Carol,

After communicating with you I decided to look for the picture of Estelle that my cousin sent several years ago.
It was taken in 1963 at my Aunt Annie's house. It has been quite a while since I looked at it.. on the back of the picture my cousin had written EMMA Estelle THOMA 1963
I never knew she was known by Emma. Sorry I did not remember that.

I really think this is the Estelle you are looking for.

If you want this picture I can scan it in and email it to you if you send your email address.
