Hans Sorensen was born in 1886, died in 1931, and is buried in the Sorensen Family Plot along side Art, Christ, Christiana, who were husband and wife. Who is this Hans? Was he Christ's younger brother from Denmark? Art was Christ and Christiana's son. Please any information about this Hans would be most helpful.

Regarding Hans. I have received information that he was the half brother to Christ Sorensen, thus why he's buried in the family plot. They had the same father, but differnt mothers.
Hans Henrik Sorensen was born 5 Oct 1886 in Dronninglund parish, Hjorring Jutlund County, DK to Jens Kristjan Sorensen and Jensine Kristine Hansen who were married 6 Nov 1885. He has two other full brothers, Frederik Kristjan born 1875, and Karl Kristjan born 1889.

This is what I have on Hans, from a gal in Sweden who did the research for me.
Hans Sorensen was born 5 Oct 1886 in Denmark, he died 23 Sep 1931 at Fort Snelling, Minnesota and is buried in Hutchinson, Minnesota along side of his half brother, Christ Sorensen.
Hans' parents were: Jens Kristjan Sorensen and Jensine Kristine Hansen. His siblings were, Frederik Kristjan Sornesn, born 1875 in Denmark and Karl Kristjan Sorensen born 1889 in Denmark.
Hans' half brother was the son of Jens Kristjan Sorensen and his first wife Ane Marie Thomsdotter. He too was born in Denmark.
I can only guess that we are not talking about the same Hans Sorensen.

Do you have any info about his brother Karl?
