I am looking for any information I can get about the Snipes Family in Arkansas

I am also trying to reseach the Snipes line. I do not have much information. My reseach starts with Wesley Hardgrath Snipes my great grandfather.
His father probably came from Mississippi or Alabama. Do you have any information tying into Wesley Hardgrath Snipes

I have a Wesley Hargrove Snipes, b. 1852,
Dekalb, AL. He d. in 1938 in Pulaski co., AR.

the Snipes that you are looking for , would that be joseph william snipes ? If that is the person. He would be the brother of jessie harmon snipes ( my grandfather ) came from warren county tennessee

That would be the family of Charles Wesley Snipes b. 2 Feb 1828, Warren Co. TN., and d. 18 Oct 1929 TN. He married Margaret Ann Elizabeth Hollis b. 6 Jan 1833, Warren TN, and died 31 Dec 1923. I know that some of their children came to Marion Co. AR.

yes that is correct. joseph william was the only one that moved to arkansas. another brother george washington moved to indiana. jessie harmon lived his whole life in warren county
