I am looking for information regarding Michael Snider, born 1707. He married a Susanna Baisfield in 1733. any help you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think somehow these people must be related to me, because my line includes George Snider b. 1743 d. 1829, Margaret Snider Burris b. Monongalia Co. VA, and Loruhama Borrows (Burris) b. 13 Sep 1806, d. 24 May 1848. Loruhama m. George W. Dietz 7 Dec 1820 in Clark Co., IN.

George Snider is my great x's 6 grandfather. For some reason I have a huge note in my program that "this family line is a mess". (whatever i ment by that...? the note was made at midnight) I need to do some work on it, but just havent had the opportunity. If you have information you could share. I would appreciate it.

While it would be nice to think that Michaal Snider and Susannah Baisfield are the parents of John, Rudolph and George, it just can't be proven beyond a doubt. I have a lot on this on my GEDCOM which is posted at rootsweb ... alfranb is the data base. If you search for George Snider b. 1844, you will find a lot of info in the notes.

The George that is previously listed is the George Snider (1765- 1807/09) who lived in Dents Run area of Monongalia County, VA. This George died in 1807/1809 and there are records about his widowed wife in some of the early Monongalia County history.

The lineage from George 1744-1829 is as correct as I can make it. Love to converse with any descendants of George and his wife who most likely was Catherine Lemley Wells. He had 8 children, 7 daughters and 1 son. I descend from the son.
