Alice (Chinchik) Sell Obit
ADRIAN — Alice Sell, age 84, of Adrian passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at her home.
Alice was born June 25, 1923, in Dearborn, Mich., the only child of Daniel and Helen (Luclak) Chinchik. In 1952, she married Marvin “Gene” Sell in Blissfield.
Alice and Gene owned and operated the Irish Hills Ski Lodge for many years. Alice not only managed the office at the ski lodge, she also did most of the cooking. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in Blissfield.
In addition to her husband, Gene, Alice is survived by her daughter, Carol of Adrian; and two sons, Gary of Adrian and David of the Irish Hills.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Claudia Jean Sell.
The funeral service for Alice will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, at the Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Clinton. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wagley Funeral Home.
