NILWOOD - Betty J. Longerbon, 75, of Nilwood died Friday, May 27, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born June 17, 1929, in Decatur, the daughter of Clifford and Elizabeth Long Ryder. She married Eugene Longerbon in 1950 in Springfield.
Mrs. Longerbon was a homemaker.
Survivors: husband, Eugene; two sons, Gary (wife, Linda) Longerbon of Elkhart, Ind., and Paul Longerbon of Nilwood; two daughters, Shirley Martin of Girard and Joyce Longerbon of Nilwood; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Clifford (wife, Bonnie) Ryder of Dawson; sister, Beverly (husband, Tom) Dissen of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was accorded.
Memorial services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating.
