Does anyone have info that they will share on Nancy? Born about 1780 probably Lincoln county, North Carolina.

She married a Henry Rosamond, [1783-1828]. He is shown born in Lincoln county and died in Madison county, Tennessee..

One son, John D. Rosamond, [1807-1681].

I am descendant of a Levi Row (1789-1873) son of Robert Rowe (1755-1832) son of Joshua Rowe (1730-1812).

Levi Row married Catherine E Moore (1793-1871). Is there any connection between this Catherine E Moore and the Moore's in your posting?

I have no info about Leah except that she married Daniel Rowe, and had the children I listed previously! Their child Nora was my great grandmother. How do you connect with this family? I have not got very far on this branch, as my grandfather always said there was no family - since his death in 1992, I have found and been in contact with many family members - though my grandfather was an only child, so there are no other ppl connected to my Nora. Thanks for replying to my message - I hope to hear from you soon.

Most interested in an Alida C. Rowe. Parents may have been John and Sarah. She was born sometime between 1858 and 1861.

Jesse is my great uncle. He was born in Sleaford Lincolnshire in 1874.He married Mary Ann Webber and they had children Lettie Rowe 1899 -1955,John Thomas Rowe 1901 -1907 Frederick Lewis Rowe 1903-1984. They were living in Sleaford in 1907 but I cannot find them in census docs in 1901 0r 1911. They went to Wales sometime after 1907 and Jesse was a miner (according to Lettie's marriage certificate) Fred lived in Maesteg in Mid Glamorgan and was a colliery official and married ? Bateman. I believe they had a daughter called Cynthia Maud??She married Geriant Morris Rees in May 1933. Any info would be great .

I am not 100% certain as my records are in my home back in the states and am currently in Iraq. But I do believe that my ancester line does at some point go to John and Sarah (Riffle) Rowe

African American Rowe's from Norris, Edgefield and Chinquepin, SC

Hello, I have found out the name of my 3rd grandfather on my mother's side to have been Henry Rowe. He was married to Christena and they could be found on the 1870 or 1880 census, living in Norris, Edgefield. Eventually, the Rowe's of this clan moved to Chinquepin, Lexington, SC otherwise known now as Batesburg. Henry and 'Tena' had several children, one being Jesse (or Jess) of whom was my 2nd gpa. He then had a child (whether biological or not--unsure) by the initials of I.D. There is a census record showing Jesse also had a child named 'Lovick' who was born around the same time as 'I.D'. Could it be that they were one in the same? If there is anyone related to this line, please contact me! Thanks.

Your spot on ---- You'll notice my initial enquiry was back in 2004 - Since then, I've located all the family, been to Cornwall and met relatives - so much has happened since 2004. Also have full descendants of John Charles Rowe
who married Henrietta Millicent Mathews in St Buryan on 18 March 1887 - And She died on 10 Jan 1949 in Maryborough..

But, I dont have any information of descendants of the children - Thomas Leonard Rowe was one of 12 children I believe?

What puzzled me about John Charles Rowe he's the only relative buried in a grave at Maryborough... I have a photo of the headstone ..Would like to know the story behind that?

Anyhow, I live in Templestowe, Melbourne...

I noticed you are searching for Martin Rowe (1812 abt) & Mary Garde. I have these names in my Family Tree and if they match, they are my 3rd Great Gradnparents on my fathers side. Their son James married nanny Williams in St Buryan, their son John Charles emigrated to Australia and my Grandfather Thomas leonard was born in maryborough Vic 1901. My father (Kevin Charles) was born 1931 died 1992.

These are the members of my Rowe family. Father John, mother unk, Casiah, my gggggrandmother, born 1765 in Scotland(?), Frederick born 1771 in New Hanover County, Sarah, Marcy, John, Elizabeth, Roan, and Beneter (dau). I believe Frederick went to TN and Roan or some of his decendents went to SC. I have no info on the others. Casiah married Miles Rooks and my line comes thru her son John Rooks. Do any of these names sound familiar to anyone? I have hit a brick wall.

I am trying to locate any information on a Henry Rowe that lived in Jackson County Ohio and was born about 1826 according to the 1860 census. His wife is Mary, born about 1836, and they were both born in Germany. They had a son Henry that lived in Pike County Ohio. I can only find them mentioned in the 1860 census and can not locate their names on any immigration searchs. Any help would be appreciated.

I am searching for information on a William Rowe and his wife Nancy (Marie? Cahal?). He children were Arthur B?, Andrew?, James (married Clara Lyons), Jess, John, Laura (married name Anderson), Molly (or Mary)(married Hastings?), William and George E (b 1881). Additional information says Robert Lee was born in Cape Girardeau, MO on Oct 21, 1875. He was married to Martha "Lizzie" Nunly born June 25, 1880 in Amity, MO. Martha married Larry Wonderly and passed in Topeka, KS.

Any information regarding the parents of either would be appreciated.

My grandfather was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamica. His name was James Rowe. I am wondering is this some type of connection. My grandfather was born in the 1900, he came from a large family. He worked on a boat and moved to Panama. His full name was James Augustus Rowe. Do you remember any of your grandfather's siblings name?

I just asked my older brother about our grandfather and where he is was born. He stated that our grandfather was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Our last name is Rowe, and our grandfather name was James Augustus Rowe. He left Jamaica and worked on a boat and married our grandmother, her name was Maude Rowe both of them moved to Panama. I would love to know if this is true. I am in the process of planning a family reunion, this type of information will be great to know.
