Hello,I am something of a Cornuholic, not hopefully to any fatal degree but I am never the less looking for any information regarding life in the Cornish Village of Karslake by any family name - but - there are some Karslakes and many many Cornish Rowes out there who might of had roots in the clay district around Nanpean, St Austell.
The village of Karslake has been excavated by English China Clay Enterprises, so life ceased there in the 1960s, now a great theme park, The Eden project looms upon the threshold of our cornish heritage.I would like to hear any tales or of any known or suspected connections
