Well, we,er getting warmer, the fact that they came from Pa. Also that they lived in Ohio, and Miss. So did my people.(Do you have any dates.)Oh yes 1927.I do not know anyone in those years. I have information from 1729 U.S. to 1900,s .Also Pictures?Your people maybe children from my greatgrandfathers siblings.(Which I have no names of yet.)I do not recogize any of your names, but I have the records of the descendants from Pa.My great grandfather was Samuel Wilbur Rank. His father was George Crawford Rank married to Christina Frey. They had many children, of which most where born in Ohio.(They came from Pa. to Ohio)If you have an address for me I can mail you a family tree of my descentdants for you to compare and match up to.I have been searching for descendants of grandpas for a long time. He had a sister named Marge Rank whom married a Nelson and she had several children. Also Stella Rank other sister had several children.I have pictures of them in their elder years as well as younger Stella and also a brother named named Ray Rank and other named JJames , called Jim Rank, a sister named Kitty Rank. These may have been nicknames .But on the tree I,ll have the full name.Better yet if I had your e-mail I could send you an invite to the web site my 5th cousin and I have with family pictures on it. But again I do not know their childrens names.Wish I did. Also theirs a book that is inexpensive you can get from one of the Ranks that explains where the Ranks came from(A Rank wrote the book about the familys with names that lived in Pa.Starting with the firt whom came over on the ship Morton in 1729 and his brother(My relative)and on down.We have family reunions every July.In Pa. yes the connection as been forever my dream. Just to put it all together and leave it for the next generations to come. Funny as it seems we where suppose to have came from France into Germany, and the two brothers Micheal Phillip Ranck half Franch German came to Pa in 1729. Where they married here and started "Freedom of Religion and Speach",.Down thur the years different marriages since U.S. iis the melting pot of the world we,ve had many mixed marriages from French,German,English,Indain, from thr Ranck/Rank side, then my grandmother Bessie Rank married an Austin half German Half Indain his mother and all German his father. Then my mother married my father Indain/Irish/German , where his mother was full-blooded Indain. I married Yogoslavian/Finish American. Then my daughter married back to the Full blooded French, they have 3 children. My son married a full blooded German girl and has two girls. So its such a small world. It all comes back around. Patsy

I would be interested in any information on James Conley Rank, b. White Deer Twp., PA, 3 Oct. 1831, and James Spotts Rank, b. White Deer Twp. PA, 18 Dec 1807. They are my GG and GGG grandfather. My GG grandfather ended up in Minnesota by 1863.

Classification: Query
Hi, I am also looking for Rancks from White Deer, Union County, PA in early 1800s. It appears that there are only a few Rank families there. My family line is Ranck, but around 1850 the name changed from Rank to Ranck. Most of the listings in Union County in early 1800 are listed as Rank. It is likely that your Rank family and mine are related due to the few # of families living there.

I am looking for information for Jesse Rank b. abt 1811, married to Elizabeth Fisher b. abt 1814.

their children were:
Oliver Goldsmith Ranck b. abt 1837
Thaddeus Ranck b. abt 1839
Henrietta Ranck b. abt 1841
Robert Ranck b. abt 1845
Elizabeth Ranck b. abt 1849
