My father was "Sonny" Eulice Ray Purdom born in Yellville, Arkansas in 1943. I am trying to research my family tree and would appreciate any help I could recieve. I know my Grandparents names were Floyd and Argie (Wagoner)Purdom. They moved to Washington State around 1964. I believe my Great-Grandfathers name was Tom Purdom. I don't know any of my relatives back east and don't know how to contact anyone for help. If you have any information please email me. Thank you.

My Grandfather was Kenneth R. Purdom who is now deceased, but was a practicing dentist for the state of Washington. Are we related?

I would suspect that somehow we are sharing some common relatives. I searched for your email address and you did not list it. Please contact me at JECE1984@aol.com so we can compare names. I have PURDOM family that were from SEMO and AR. Some of those in AR moved to the state of WA and still live there today.

Please contact me in private, I think we may have some Purdom lines that may cross. Mine are from the bootheel of Missouri in Ripley County. I have family from Yellville and family that moved to Washington state in the 60's.

Was your grandfather Floyd Purdom? If so Sonny and his sister lived across the road from my grandparent, John "Henry" Purdom near Yellville, AR. I played with Sonny and Faye in a mud puddle when I was a little girl while visiting my grandparents. I think the sister first name was Wanda, but I am not sure. It was in the early 1950's.
