HI! I am a Prevost, and I was wondering how many there are of us. Kinda new, but am interested!

I don't know exactly how many of us there are but I know that you can find Prevost, Provost' Provo and Provoost every where! Here at the Association we have members from France, Belgium, Holland, USA, England, etc and we started the Association for Quebec !!!
Where are yoou from and what's your parents names?

My real father has the name Prevost. His first name is Darcy. His mothers name is Eleanor and her husbands name was Maurice Prevost. He came to Canada from a small town in France. I know I have family all over the world from the Prevost side. Does this help at all? Amanda

My grandmother was Philomene Provost. She was married to James O. Lessard. I am decended from Etienne de Lessart of Saint Anne de Beaupre fame and Marin Provost. Through my grandmother Philomene, i have some relationship to Blessed Andre Bessette. However, I have not been able to find the connection. Any ideas?

My grandfather Auguste Prevost had a sister who's name was Philomene. Her parents were Jacque-Emile Prevost and Josephine Thédélia Bathalon married on 28 nov 1877 in Gorham,NH.
Auguste was married to Valéda Desrochers on 6 sept 1915 in St-Edoard de Fabre (Témiscamingue). Let me know if that is the connection you are looking for.

Hi I have found Provot and Marcotte in my family.Is there any connection.Here is what I have. If any matches PLEASE let me know. Iam looking for anyone who has any relatives with the last name Marcotte. My Grandfather was Arthur and his parents were Edward and Adeline. He was born in Quebec some plac and Arthur served in the WW1 war. He settled in Sudbury, Ontario and married a Margaret Bradley. He was born April 4/ 1889 and diedSept 1943. When he died he had sister and brothers still living in Quebec. I can find nothing on him and have been looking for 2 years. Please help if you can.
