I just ran across your posting. Do you know if this Prevost family is any relation to Jeanne Prevost/Prevert born in Abbeyville, Picarde, France in 1624 who married Jean deGorenflo.

Unfortunately with the information I have I can't link Auguste Prévost with Jeanne Prévost/Prévert.

I'm a daughter to Rose Anna Prevost married to Alphonse Lalonde May 14,1919. I'm trying to get more info on Bathalon it seems to end with Josephine. My mom had a brother named August but I thought they were in Manitoba somewhere and he died there any info...

I am wondering if any Prevost family lived in Sprague, Manitoba which is a French town.

Apparently in the 1930's, 2 brothers Charles Prevost and George Prevost, French men, came to Skownan First Nation (aka Waterhen, Mb) and married 2 girls who were related to each other. Madeleine Catcheway, daughter of Francois Katchiwe and Catherine Sinclair. And Sarah Jacqueline "ROSA" Catcheway, daughter of Gaspard Catcheway and Elise Boucher.

I believe Charlie Prevost married Sarah Jacqueline "ROSA" Catcheway, and she lost her Treaty rights, as she was a Treaty Indian from Skownan First Nation. They had 2 kids, one boy and one girl born around 1931-1934. Charlie Prevost's wife died, leaving him a widower to raise his boy and girl. They may have lived in Winnipeg or around area.

We are wanting to find descendants of this family...

PS. My great grandfather was Gaspard Catcheway and Elise Boucher...their son Johnny Catcheway was my grandfather, and was a sister to Sarah Jacqueline "Rosa" Catcheway.
