Alice Jane Presley (1869-1900), daughter of John Crawford Presley and Martha Jane Ellis, was my great-grandmother. She married George Washington RENNEKER (1866-1893) on 12 Feb 1988 in Brandon Co, MO. Her husband died 1 May 1893 when a train on which he was a passenger plunged through a bridge, and she died on 7 or 8 January 1900. They are both buried in Shiloh Cemetery in Thayer, Oregon Co, Missouri. (This info from a book on the RENNEKER family by T.D. Boaz, Jr.)

They had three children:

1. Homer Clarence RENNEKER (23 Nov 1888 - 24 Jan 1901)
. .Buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Thayer Co., Missouri

2. Carl Eugene RENNEKER (7 Sep 1890 - 8 Jan 1919)
. . Died in Baker (aka Baker City), Baker County, Oregon
. . My dad believes he died of the Spanish influenza

3. Edna Mabel RENNEKER (30 Oct 1892 - 9 Mar 1978)
. . She was known by her middle name, Mabel, and married my grandfather, James Claude Green (known as Claude) (10 Sep 1888 - 18 Jul 1874). Both died in Baker, Oregon, and are buried there in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

No, I live in Alaska. My grandmother, Edna Mabel (Renneker) Green, the daughter of George Washington Renneker and Alice Jane Presley, lived her adult life in Baker, Oregon, where my dad was born. My dad moved to Montana, where I was born.

I will be glad to correspond with you! I've been doing a lot of research in the past weeks on this branch of my family, & have found a lot of info, including from the Renneker/Presley family bible that my dad passed on to me last year. I will be in touch by email.

i am looking for henry presley he married mary and had a son named henry monroe presley. they lived in oregon county missouri and are buried here also. henry monroe was born in 1893 and married gracie williams born 1893 he died in 1975 he was my husbands great grandpa. any information would be very appreciated as i can find nothing beyond henry presley was one of the first settlers in oregon county in the billdad (billmore) area it's a little community east of thayer.
