Correction on misspelled name Bury should be Burt

I am trying to locate ANY information on Elijah Pannell born approx. 1851 in Georgia and died Sept. 1924. He was supposed to be from somewhere in Georgia and was married to Betty Tabor in Marion County,AR. My Grandfather, Clyde Mayfield Pannell was born August 1878 to these parents. Sometime after my Grandfather's birth his mother passed away and the family moved to Texas. I do not know if this was before or after his father Elijah remarried. I would love to know who he was remarried to. I do know that there were several children from this union. I believe my Grandfather only had one full-blooded sibling. I am also trying to find out where in the Pannell or the Tabor family line does the American Indian fit in. Any help if it is only referrals will be greatly appreciated.

is the george pannell named in the mail a pretty famous golfprofessional who worked in belgium?
he won the dutch open twice in 1912 and 1922.

I know this is a bit late. My father (Gerald Boyce Pannell) was one of five brothers born to John Updike Pannell (J.U. as everyone called him) I know my dad said that they moved to Missouri at one point and to Oklahoma. I know my grandfater had a few brothers. The only one I knew was Uncle Knight. I don't remember his full namme. Both J.U. and my grandmother Doris (Eva Doris Looney-Pannell) are now dead.
