My name is Janet Palacios Knutson and I live in San Antonio, Tx. I am doing research for my father and have seemed to have hit a dead end. I have read many of the message boards and do not reconize any of the names mentioned but maybe some new blood is needed. My father is named Guadalupe Navarro Palacios born. April 6, 1947 in Corpus Cristi, Tx. he is married to Alicia Acosta Alvear of Kenedy, Tx. My father grew up in Aransas Pass, Tx. His father was Ygnacio(Ignacio)Moya Palacios born on Nov. 8,1921 in Aransas Pass or Corpus Cristi, Texas and married to Angelina Cabriales Navarro born. August 22. 1925. Ignacio Palacios has 4 sisters named Aniseta Gomez, Gumezenda Flores, Martina Hernandez, and Agnes Palacios. Ignacios father was named Eciquio(Ezequio) B.Palacios and was born in Brownsville,Tx. on Sept. 20, 1890. Eciquio married Julia Moya in Aransas Pass, Tx. Eciquio's father was named Martin Palacio of Mexico and his mother is Martina Briones of Mexico. That folks is were the buck stops. As you notice Eciquio's last name does not have the s at the end and I am clueless as to what part of Mexico they are from. If anyone recognizes any of these names or has any info that can aid me further it would be so much appreciated. Thanks

With regards to Palacio, I just realized I posted to your other query. What does the "B" initial in Eciquio's name stand for? Is it Bacilio?

Esequio died 9/17/1957 in Houston, UT-M.D.Anderson. He was widowed at the time. He was born 9/10/1890 and buried in Aransas Pass, Texas.

Julia Moya Palacios was born 7/10/1896 in Beeville to Ygnacio Moya of Alice, Texas and Eugenia Canada (Ganeda) of Mexico. She died Nov 23 1956 in Woodsboro, Refugio Co., Tx. Julia is buried in St. Bernard Cemetery, Woodsboro, Tx. The informant was Eciquio B. Palacios.
