The roots from these Palacios clan are from the state of Chihuahua, Mexico (specifically San Andres also now refered to as Riva Palacio0. Edelmira, I am originally from Kingsville Texas. My mother is Petra Hilaria Palacios from Kingsville. Her father Ascension Palacios from Mexico. His father Eduardo Palacios also from Mexico. I don't have anymore information at this time because I have just started on my family tree. Let me know if any of these names are familiar to you or if we are related. I do have an uncle named Julian Alonso Palacios who lives in Corpus Christi.

In order to make our connections, we need to know what part of Mexico Ascencion Palacios may have come from? My Palacios family has ties to Camargo, Mier, and Guerrero, towns in Tamaulipas. Previous to this they were in Cadereyta and Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon. It is very possible the family may be the same family, but we have to work one generation at a time, working back until we tie in. One Palacios ancestor known to many that lived in the South Texas area was Antonio Maria Palacios. If you can make a connection to him, then we are "primos".
