I am seeking information about Nicholas Ott who served with the 208th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company H (Civil War).

I am interested in any information about anyone who served with the 208th.

I don't know if this is the same Nicholas Ott. There is an obituary in the Digital Collection of the PA State Library online. This Nicholas Ott was a member of Company G, 73rd Infantry. He died in Allegheny. You can access the obit via their Genealogy Collection, Necrology Scrapbook, Volume 58, p. 086. There is a search engine also. A little tricky but eventually you will find it.
