Hello All, I'm looking for information on a Catherine Ott who was born 1840 in Viele, Iowa. She married Johann (John) Gotlieb Neumeister. Catherin's parents were Michael Ott (b: 1813 in Germany) and Sally Klaber (although I've seen her listed as Sarah, Sussanoh, and even Margaret). I'm particularly interested in Catherine's mother since there seems to be lots of different information about her. Thanks!

Check on Rootsweb.com, I found a Catherine Ott,b10/20/1840, Viele, Lee County, Iowa. Father is Michael and mother listed as Sally Klaber but I believe it should be Salome Kleiber as she is my ggrandmother's sister. You may want to check with the Donnallson Public Libary, Donnallson, iowa also. They have quite a bit of info on older members of area.
