It looks like this thread of postings may be very beneficial in my search for my ggggrandfather, William Nash, born 1765 in Virginia and died in 1863 in Tennessee. All I can find on him is that information and one son, Edmund B. married to Tobitha(Tabitha) Smith. Two of their sons, Albert Fletcher and Simpson Jones (my great-grandfather) moved their families to Texas after the Civil War. Any information pertaining Williiam Nash would be greatly appreciated as I have been hunting for information for years.
