Looking for the parents of John Nesbitt Nash?
What was the middle name of Elihu "C." Nash; was it Chauncy?
Who were the parents of Elizabeth ADAMS Nash? From where SC?
Elihu's son William Perry Nash settled in Clark and Hempstead Counties of Arkansas in the mid 1890's. His death certificate reads that he was buried in the Robertson Cemetery. Where is it? Family cemetery? What about his wife, Martha HALE Nash; she died before 1910, no info?

I know very little about my great-grandparents. I know they had two daughters, Ada and Annie and 8 sons, my grandfather being one. His name was Jesse William Nash. I was also told that they were from Stone Mountain, GA

Debby, sorry for the delay in the response. I have a copy of the book, The Georgia Descendants of Edward Nash of Greenville County, South Carolina, and related Families, by James Henry Nash. It has many links to the Gwinnett and Dekalb County Nash Families. Also I have a copy of, Ancestors and Descendants, by Sara Mary Nash. I received the copy from Sara's niece, who now has the rights to all her works. Both of these books could help in your search.

I, Myself, am related to the Gwinnett AND Henry County branches of the Nash Family. If I may help in any way, let me know... Good Luck!

Charles: Do you have any info on the 9 yr old John Nash in the household with W D Massey 1860 U S census Gwinnett County, Ga.? I think the 19 yr old John Nash in the Lewis Nash household 1870 U S census Gwinnett County is the same person. I have been told mr. Massey's wife Emily was Lewis Nash's sister. This John Nash could be my Grandfather .any help is appricated.

I am also related to the Nash family in Gwinnett Co and am searching for James Edward in 1840. My GGgrandmother was Eliza Nash Rannals who died in Grayson County Texas.
I would share census records and other information in exchange for help in confirming that James Edward was her father. I cannot locate her and her father in the same census records until after his second marriage to Teresa Couch Lee Nash. She was living in close proximity to him after her marriage and listed with him and teresa in 1870. Please help.
