There was a Robert MILLS-MILES b. 1700 in Irland, and a Robert MILLS m. Mary CARLTON 1 Apr 1725 at Kennet Mountiam, Newad,Esssex,New Jersey. There was also a Robert MILLS and Mary CARLTON in Pennsylvania who had Phebe MILLS b. 1750, at Pa, William MILLS b. 1752 and Susanah MILLS b. 1754 at PA
It is hard to say that these Robert MILLS' were all the same Robert MILLS. The birth and marrage dates would appear to be the same. But, it would be very unusual for a couple to be married 25 years before their second child was born, then get of the same schedule as was usual one every two years.
