Did someone mix up these families MILLS. Both being Robert and both marrying a Mary as spouse??
It may be that they are 2 differnt generations. Since another researcher is listing Newark Essex New Jersey, have you done any research in that area to see which MILLS family in New Jersey, that they might belong??

I think there was a Robert MILLS listed as being in Sussex Co. NJ?? Cannot remember for now. May be someone on the MILLS LIST can help us out here??

Sussex Co. NJ was reputed to be a "hot Bed" of Torries, and also a lot of Quakers there.

I too would like to help sort out these MILLS' as they may reflect on my DNA MILLS of New Jersey.
If you are going to Ireland, that would also be so helpful to see if all these MILLS' came together to the Colonies.
