I am still looking for Robert Mills and Mary Carleton. Your listing was posted some years ago but I think I have written to you before if you are from Muscatine, IA. This may not even reach you now. However, if it does, we (my brother Harold and I and our wives) are going to Ireland in April this year (2008) to look some more. I recently went through all the LDS microfilms of Quakers in Ireland and there is not a single Mills in there. (There are many Carletons and they go back to England abt 1520). Therefore I think Robert became a Quaker only after he came to the US. Therefore we will be looking in other church registries, problbly Church of Ireland (episcapal). One reference states he was born in Ballyhagen (that is near Edenderry) and was Christened in Seagoe, Armagh in 1705. (Quakers did not Christen) Possibly we can find something there. Let me know if you get this! (or anyone else who is working on the same people).
