passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at St. Vincent Health Center.
He was born November 1, 1948, in Havaco,
West Virginia, son of the late Ted Henry
Mickel and Willie Mae Dickerson
Mickel.
He was a resident of
ERIE for 35 years.
Ronald was employed over 28 years at EMI as a core maker and was most recently employed as a Supervisor for Securitas.
For years he volunteered at Joel Two,
always giving back to the community.
He was a member of Mt. Ebal
Baptist Church.
He was an avid sports fan, with the
Cleveland Browns being his favorite team. He was also an excellent cook, a master griller and was a gentle, loving, caring and soft-spoken soul. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Besides his parents,
he was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell and Peter
Mickel,
and a sister, Jessie
Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 31 years, Lula

Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.,
at Mt. Ebal
Baptist Church, 1617 E. 26th St. (E. 26th and
Pear St.),
and may attend the funeral service at the church on Wednesday, November 4, at 11 a.m.,
conducted by Rev. Cleveland E. Ulmer.
Interment service will be at the
