Looking for information on the parents of James McNabb. He was married to Mary Louisa McKnight and they had many children, including my grandmothr Ida Florence McNabb. I have found James, Mary Louisa and their children on an 1851 Ontario census.

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

My real fathers name is floyd lincoln mcnabb and he lived in the san jose califonia area around 1957-1960?. All i know is my mother got pregenant after dating four or five months, when he found out he left to LA and after only one phone call when he told my mom she young and she would get over it he hung up and thats the last she ever heard. Im now 50 years old, was born in O'Connor hospital on july 26, 1959. I just want to find out the truth, I dont want to cause any problems, it just seems there has always been a piece of me missing. DoD Identifies Army Casualties

The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of seven soldiers who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. They died Oct. 26 of wounds suffered when the MH-47 helicopter they were aboard crashed in Darreh-ye Bum, Afghanistan.

Killed were five soldiers assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Regiment (Airborne), Hunter Army Airfield, Ga.:

I have a McNabb family that lived in Hickman in late 1800s up to 1920. A J N Mcnab b1800 and a M Mcnab b1805 lived in District 3/15 and 1st district in those years, I am looking for J N and M Mcnabs graves they died in the 1800s.

I have found out new info on Newton McNabb. In the 1880 census Newton lived with his sister Nancy McNabb born 1854 and there mother M McNabb born 1806. They lived and grew up in Hickman Tn. most of there early life. They are also in the 1900-1910 & 1920 census. I believe Newton met his wife Callie there and started there family there then moved to Gibson Co. Tn.Aaron Morris and Mary Anderson must have lived in the area

A Mildred Foster born 1911 married a mr Becton and had 3 or 4 kids They got devorced ? The kids were Sonny,Mary L, cant remember the other 2.Mary L married a James Mcnabb and live in Trenton Tn. They have a Grand parent named Callie Mai Morris that was Cherokee. Callie is buried in Gibson Co.Tn. At a Babtist church of Pischia {bad spelling}in Bradford Tn.

John McNabb and Lucinda of NC and TN

I have posted tons of these and am still looking for a connection between John McNabb b. 1790 NC and married a Lucinda ??? b. 1795 NC...census show her name spelled weird a couple of times. One of their children being Emanual McNabb. My g-aunt from TN had compiled most of my information from census which I have confirmed on Ancestry. Anscestry only shows Winna Adams with the same dates and same husband name with the same dates; but research proves that Winna is not my link; just a coincidence. Also, a marriage record (i think) shows a Centhy Boltin - could be short for Lucinda. That Centhy spelling has not been found on my census that I have linked to my family line. If anyone has any useful information, please let me know!

Have there been any research on the McNabb's from Barbour County. I've gone as far as Oliver and Mary McNabb from the carolina's sold to a Scottish Banker, names John McNabb. I know there is mention of the molottos, but not sure how. Would like to know about the white side of my family.

William and Betty Aiken McNabb were my 7th great grandparents, their son Baptist and Catherine Gray were my 6th great grandparents. That's where we take different paths. Their son, William married Elizabeth Dryden and became my 5th great grandparents. William had a son Baptist that married Margaret Gray. Together they had 11 children. One of them being Nathaniel Dryden McNabb that married Traphena Smallin(g) and became my 3rd great grandparents. Their first born son, Richard married Isabell Snyder and became my 2nd great grandparents.
Richard and Isabell had seven children. A daughter, Trethenin McNabb married William Delapp and they are my great grandparents. They have a daughter, Lillie Delapp that married James Clifton Harrell, my grandparents. They had my father...

All in Tennessee, various counties, but Tennessee, including myself.

My gg-grandparents were John and Catherine Hopkins Leatherwood; married in Cocke TN in 1892. 1910 census shows them in Cataloochee, Haywood Co., with John having a middle initial "A".; 1900 census shows them in Cocke Co TN and born in 1874 in NC. There are 3 John's in the 1880 census that were born in correct time frame: John to Edward and Elizabeth of Cataloochee; John M, born to Wm H and Clara J. of Waynesville, NC and of course, John W. to Marcus and Martha of Ga. Does anyone know which John is mine? I am leaning towards son of Edward. Thanks, Kathy

I grew up in Cleveland, TN my grandmothers name was Willie Mae McNabb...she however married my grandfather and became Willie Mae Marshall and from there had children of their own..I was born in Nov of 1978, sadly enough my grandparents and 3 cousins died in a house fire, I has since for as long as I can remember been trying to learn all I can about then, since my mom and her sibilings NEVER discussed this at all and I know nothing but names and I have since found birth dates and such...if this is your relative also, please contact me at amanda.broglin@gmail.com
