Looking for ALL McNab/bb that has information on the McNabbs that come from Barbour County. Here are a few names of my great greats: Oliver, Jim, Samuel, George, Henry. Jessie, Ike, Moses, Betty, Lula, Anna, Annie, Joe, Lewis, Charlie , Ozzie, and Andy. The slave owner was a Scottish banker named John McNabb. It is hard to track down the females because of the name changes. A few of my family members dropped one of the b's. Well if you have any info. contact me.

Yolanda,
My great grandparents are from the Eufaula area. Their names were Louis and Cora Walker McNabb. Louis moved his family to Louisville, GA after the slaves were freed. We are have a reunion in July and would desperately like to contact missing relatives in the Al area.

I grew up in Cleveland, TN my grandmothers name was Willie Mae McNabb...she however married my grandfather and became Willie Mae Marshall and from there had children of their own..I was born in Nov of 1978, sadly enough my grandparents and 3 cousins died in a house fire, I has since for as long as I can remember been trying to learn all I can about then, since my mom and her sibilings NEVER discussed this at all and I know nothing but names and I have since found birth dates and such...if this is your relative also, please contact me at amanda.broglin@gmail.com
thank you so much

You can email me at: queenmcnabb@yahoo.com as well as google McNabb Family history, and you should see something on MySpace, click that one and I have some history there. I would love to assist you but if you can get some information from your mom or oldest relative please do so, that will help me help you. I've been honored to connect 3 sets of McNabbs, in the pass 3 years, most recent was last month. I am a McNab-Marshall, married a Marshall, from Dalton GA, not far from you. Are you black or white? not that it matters, I embrace all my family.
