Atkins, died Saturday Aug. 16, 2003.
She was retired from
Tyson Foods.
She was born Feb. 17, 1922, in
Atkins and was the daughter of William "
Dutch"
and Beatrice
Dunn Pope.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy McCain; a son, Johnny McCain;
one grandson, Bobby McCain; two brothers,
Luther and Bill Pope; two sisters,
Jewel Dean
Holyfield and Annie May.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Carlene
McCain,
Tommy and Dana
McCain, Jim
McCain, and
Frankie McCain all of Atkins; four
daughters and two sons-in-law, Janie and Dean
Butler, Darlene and Johnny
Ethridge and Nina
Duvall and Christine
Owens all of Atkins; one brother, Jimmy
Pope of Atkins; four sisters, Ollie
Moore of Malvern, Bessie Patrick of Malvern,
Judy
Stacks of Mayflower and Marilyn
Willcutt of Atkins; 22 grandchildren and
45 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday at the
Lemley Funeral
Chapel with the Rev.
Hank
Duvall officiating. Burial was in
Bells Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Johnny Ethridge, Bill Willfond, Ray Young, Lynn
McCain,
Thomas Young, and Don
Bratton.
