I'm looking for information (especially for the ancestors) on my Great Grandfather, Roy D. May.

I'm not sure what the middle initial stands for (I think I discovered it through a notation in a baby book). He married Mattie Opal Cochran - I think - on September 20, 1925 and they had six children: Cleo Juanita May (b. April 21, 1928), Leon May, Velma Jean May, R E May (just letters, though he changed "R" to Robert when he wanted to join the military because they wouldn't let him in with just letters/initials for a name), Raymond Doyle May (b. August 17, 1940), and Barbara May. (I don't know all their birthdates or ages, so they aren't listed in chronological order.)

I think he lived in Oklahoma with his family for a while, but I'm not positive. Opal and the kids were there, but Roy left the family at some point and I have no idea when he left or where he went afterwards.

Any information would be extremely helpful!
