Margarita Gomez Macias, 88, of Chula Vista died Thursday. She was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Survivors include her daughters, Socorro Betanzos, Margarita Gonzalez, Gema Ruelas, Raquel Molina and Bertha Anderson; sons, Horacio and Ernesto of Chula Vista, Amado of Ramona and Roy, Sergio and Louis of Utah; sister, Teresa Gomez of Guadalajara; brother, Francisco Gomez of Tijuana; 38 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mass: 11 a.m. today, Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1245 Fourth Ave., Chula Vista. Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, San Diego. Arrangements: Community Mortuary.
