The Lundberg's, Johnson's, Johanson's, Engstrom's and Abergs who came to the US between the last years of the 1800's up to the 1930's settled in the Sacramento Valley, did come down through Canada, OR.
I believe Karl Oscar was my father's uncle.
They did, for the most part, come from a village, that is now Nordmaling, a place that has gone through some changes.
They were in lumber, fishing, engineering.

Folke Engstrom received some high award from Norway for picking off Nazi's with the Norwegian ski patrol in WWII. He worked for Volvo for some time. I believe and was an engineer.
