Lydia (
RITTER), Mary, and William. Eve Barbara and William are buried at
Germany Church between Lairdsville and Unityville (Franklin Township),
Lycoming Co., PA. John, his eldest son, was married to Mary A. WILSON.

Settler in the territory of what now
constitutes Jordan township is believed to have been William
LORE,
who penetrated that wilderness region as early as 1812.
After encountering many difficulties and' enduring great hardships,
he succeeded in founding a home. Some of his descendants are still
living in the township.
