Searching for August Lofgreen, b. Sweden abt 1863, Son of John Victor (Johan Wictor) and Johanna.
Arrived NYC July 17 1871 and proceeded directly by train to Chicago, where the family (4 children and mother-in-law) cleared Immigration. Family spent a little time in IL before moving to Hickory Co, MO for a short while. Eventually landed in Kansas, just south of the Nebraska state line (Norton CO). John and Johanna are buried at the Spring Green cemetery, Furnas Co, NE.

August married Nellie in 1894, Furnas Co NE, then he disappears from all records. (Family story says he drowned in the Snake river.)

Hi, I have a Charles Lofgren born Nov. 10, 1857 somewhere in Sweden, who emmigrated to the United States in 1882, upon arival he changed his surname to Lovegreen. his parents were Adolph Lofgren and Venla Hokanson. I know nothing further on this line. Do you have anything on these people?

Sorry but I do not not. Those names have not come up. Have you looked in Family Seach? I don't have the address on me but if you look up Latter Day Saints they have alot of records, Do you know where he located? If so , when you do a search type in the location along with Help list. There are people that volunteer to find records and such. best of luck!

I have a William Alexander Lovgren b. 1866 in SWE. He immigrated to Minnesota around 1895. He also lived in Wisconsin. This is my wife's lineage. You wouldn't happen to have anything on him in your records? There is also another William Alexander Lovgren who immigrated to the US much later and lived also in Minnesota. I have found no link between those two yet.
